Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced a new laptop scheme for students. The Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2023 will provide laptops to students studying in Pakistani universities.

The scheme is open to all Pakistani students who are enrolled in public sector and distance learning universities. The laptops will be given to students on just merit basis.
The Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2023 is a part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. The main aim of the laptop scheme is to promote education, digital literacy and knowledge in Pakistan.
Important Information About Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2023
The laptops will be distributed among students who have secured admission in undergraduate to postgraduate programs. The distribution of laptops will be done in special functions at the universities. The laptops will be given to the students free of cost.
The government has allocated a budget of Rs. 10 billion for the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2023. The laptops will be procured from local and international companies. The laptops will be equipped with the latest technology and will be able to run all the latest software. The laptops will have a warranty of two years.
The laptops will be distributed among the students in the second semester of the academic year. The laptops will be given to the students who have applied for the scheme.
The scheme is open to all Pakistani students who are enrolled in Pakistani universities. The scheme is not for the international students who are enrolled in Pakistani universities.
The government has asked the govt and distance learning universities of Pakistan to provide the list of students who are eligible for the PM laptop scheme 2023. The students who are eligible for the scheme will be notified by the universities and HEC. The students who are selected for the scheme will be given the laptops most probably in the 2nd semester of the academic year.
